This, still functioning, lantern has been sitting in our shed for years. I have not idea how old it is or where it came from. Add some kerosene oil and a wick and it's good to go. They don't make things like they used too.
In this first image I converted it to black and white then I added a filter of "red" to get that color tint.
I set this up outside and positioned it in front of the sunshine so that the light would go through the red glass. It looks like it's lit but it's the sun shining through it.

That is a beautiful lamp! They really don't make them like they used to. I really like the first image, but the second is amazing how it's "lit".
