My back pain had me laying down for almost 3 days. It's still sore but much much better. I'm moving around a lot better too. The things we take for granted - like standing upright without pain. I'm doing so much better though. Thanks for your thoughts.
Took a quick picture of David as he cleaned the gutters this weekend. Yes, I managed to go outside for a quick shot.
Moody Pumpkin
The weather has been unseasonable warm around here. The carved pumpkins didn't last too long but this one seems to have more personality. LOL
I used CoffeeShop Moody Pop. I think it's appropriate.
Today’s Daily Shoot assignment is:
Make a high-contrast photograph today. Keep in mind that color contrast can be as effective as black and white.
Get out there, take a photograph, upload it, and tweet a link to @dailyshoot with the hashtag: #ds344
These are sitting on the window sill for halloween. I needed a quick shot.
I used CoffeeShop moody pop - I think it worked well.

Glad to hear things are improving, I suggest you take it really easy because it is quite easy to make back trouble worse, just sitting up the wrong way and you are back in bed for a week.
Interesting though, you are mostly confined to bed and you still manage to keep up the project and get photos more interesting than many people who claim to be professionals. I like the pumpkin best, the texture and the composition tell an interesting story.
These are so kool! The pumpkin really does have personality! I like both photos, great compositions!
Hi Sandra - great to hear the back is feeling better, and please take it easy!
That pumpkin shot is great, and I don't have that moody pop action, so I'm off to download it.
Good to see your blog post and nice to hear that you're starting to feel better.
I like the Jack-O-Lantern shot a lot. It has quite a character and gives the feel that he's winking while smiling.
I have to try that Moody Pop action - looks interesting.
Nice job! I'm glad to see you posting, but don't get busy posting and hunting up photos if your back needs to rest!
I like the shot of your man climbing the ladder - is he always doing something? It seems like if he's not in your studio, the shots of him are action shots. Seems like a hard-working man.
I love the duckies! What cute Halloween decorations! That little mummy duck is too cute!
Shame to read about your back. Maybe, this great pumpkin face managed to lighten the day a bit.
These are great. Your photos give me inspiration when I think there's nothing to shoot.
