D-231 Ignite your creativity

I am on the 231st day of the 2010 project and I know everyone that follows is on different days but this far in the game we are starting to run out of steam. Here are a few things that keeps me creative.
* Take a walk with camera in tow
* try something different like shooting from a different angle or try a new
technique
* Join challenges
* Ask yourself how you can make your image look different
* duplicate/redo an image you love
* listen to music
* look at magazines
* let colors inspire you
* capture details
* try a monotone
So I ask you "how do you ignite your creativity?"

The daily shoot today:
Make a photograph with soft light today. Try to almost totally eliminate shadows on your subject.

I don't have a soft focus filter but I used my 50mm lens and shot wide open at 1.4 which created a softness around her.

Tasra Mar's Thursday challenge is "Joy"
Twix brings me lots and lots of joy ;)

A lot of the time, if I'm not feeling quite creative, or in the mood to take pictures, I go outside with my camera and just pick something to shoot. That's usually enough to get my brain into gear, fix my mood and once I get going, I feel better.
Kind of like the nike ad, Just Do It!

We've seen her once before. She's a cutie. I like the blur of the background.

Love those 2 sparkling eyes. I like the high POV on this shot.

TDS challenge is my thing to ignite creativity in my 365 project.

love the way the fur and the swirls of the cushion just merge into the blur the soft focus really suits her.

Very nice! Twix is such a good model!

One of the things I do to keep my creative juices flowing is browse through the groups I belong to in Flickr. I see shots I love that I'd like to try; sometimes shots that are not quite right and I want to try to do the same shot right; often I see a subject I never thought of shooting that inspires me to find "one of those" (i.e. an old fire truck).
