It's the cause of my grief for the past 2 days. It's an external hard drive and it scared me from day 1. Dave tried to reassure me It's like a dinosaur as far as room goes. Yeah, well I knew it was a beast from day 1! I transferred a file over but only part of the file transferred. I didn't know that until I deleted my files from the hard drive. All of my April 2009 and part of my March 2009 images are gone. Gone, gone, gone. We've been working trying to recover it but don't seem to be able to. My brother in law is coming over tomorrow to see if he can find my stuff - SIGH
I'm sick to my stomach. I used to back up on Cd's every time but I got out of that habit. I started again. The wedding is on a DVD, the couples shoots on Cd's. Luckily I didn't lose anything from a paying customer - none the less, it's a months work of images, maybe more . . .Eric gave me a couple of links, any suggestions?

Oh NO! I hate computer issues! Hope you had a fun Mother's day, though. :)
I'm sorry that happened to your files. I have an external hard drive, but I have never had a problem with it. I hope you get your files back.
Ah, hope all be found and saved.
((hugs))
Well if you are running a windows computer nothing is ever truly deleted. There is a way to restore missing or user deleted files.
