D-329 Box with Bokeh in Black & Whtie

The daily shoot -
DS#376 Containers, boxes, and packages. Make a photo with one or more as a subject and illustrate what they mean to you.

I'm glad I had a day off today so that I can spend 12 plus hours cleaning and decorating the house for Christmas :) What a mess.
Everything we tried to do just went wacky. LOL

High ISO (6400) because it's very late at night and I used the Christmas Tree as the background. Converted to Black and white so the the colors won't compete for attention. Too tired to use the off camera flash and the on board flash looked, well, just "flashy."

The lighting on this is perfect! I think it looks like an early-Christmas-morning surprise (the low light gives me that feeling) - like I snuck downstairs to peek under the tree before the whole house was awake.

Superb composition. I was trying to achieve something like this when I did a portrait of my wife and son a Sunday ago. I was inspired by a couple of shots you had done a while back using your Christmas lights strung in the background.

6400ISO..that's awesome. I couldn't imagine going past 400ISO for a decent shot with my D70 ;)

Very nice interpretation of TDS assignment. I may have mentioned earlier...you do very well with capturing bokeh and adding bokeh to your composition.
