D-274 Fading Beauty

Macro shot of the white rose that was rescued from my yard last week. The beauty in it is quickly fading

The end or the begining
Off camera flash to the left of the flower bounced off of the ceiling.

On a personal note: I had a portrait session cancel today and it was such a beautiful day I wanted to take advantage of that hour after work so I put on my running shoes and I ran 3 miles. 3 MILES! It's the first run I've done since my knee surgery in April. I'm not feeling any pain and it was such a powerful time. I was able to clear my mind and focus. I'm hoping to be able to keep up this activity that brings me so much joy.

Curious to me how your story of the run seems to perfectly coincide with the composition of the rose. It is a perfect representation of quiet and satisfied joy. The square crop is perfect for the shot.

I like the warm/delicate feel on this shot of fading beauty. Gives the feel, that I peeking through the curtains...nice work Sandra!

Lovely! I love how the center just peeks at the viewer.
I'm glad to hear about the successful run. I don't know what I would do without my endorphin inducing jaunts!
