Day 200-202

Day 202! I have a feeling it will be down hill from here.

We painted the computer room this weekend so I had no internet access all weekend. Here is my catch up post.

Saturday's daily shoot assignment: Make a photo that uses negative space to good effect. Give your subject room to breathe, and balance it within the frame.
The power of negative space

Sunday - Macro Details

The daily shoot "Today’s daily shoot challenge: Today’s theme is the color pink. Find something that’s pink and make a creative photo."

I really like that top photo especially...I recently read about negative space and breathing room for the subject. May I ask where you get your themes for your daily posts? Do you create them or is there a guideline somewhere. I would like to do this myself, although it is very late in 2010 to get started...

Nice work! My favorite is the first one...I love the way you used the negative space in it.

I was wondering where you were this weekend - I'm glad you were busy doing something simple like painting the computer room. :-)

The second image is really cool. The third has beautiful bokeh.

Hope you got everything up and running again without much trouble.

The feather shot is beautiful, so soft and delicate. The flower bud is my favourite such a simple shot, yet very effective

TDS assignment shots are awesome (as always). Like the details on the macro shot.
