I have completed 2 challenges today. I'm loving these challenges because they push me to think "outside" the box. They push me to be more creative and it is after all a challenge. They also help me use new techniques I might not have used before.
The first is for the Tasra Mar Challenge - Silhouette
Since I can't seem to get my images done early because of life commitment's I had to do my silhouette in studio. It's a self portrait.
This was a fun challenge.
A fellow 365rs that I follow, Simply Kuni, created a challenge for himself, "This week I’ll be shooting only a single image each day. I guess I’ll have to get it right the first time. No second chances…
I encourage you to join me with this weeks challenge. Next week I think I’ll tape off my screen to avoid “chimping“. Will you do the same?"
The construction site was one shot.
Then the other one was for the daily shoot.
#ds228 Construction seems to be perpetual: streets, sidewalks, buildings. Make a photo of something under construction today.
construction zone at the hospital my father is currently admitted to. He's doing much better is out of ICU.

Great fence, I'm really loving this daily shoot. Thanks Sandra.
Wonderful silhouette!! I love that shot!!
Great construction detail. So happy to hear that your Dad is doing better!
The way I see it, you completed 3 challenges - silhouette, one shot, construction. You are amazing!
That silhouette is absolutely amazing! It is just perfect!
Silhouette shot is amazing. Love the pose, colors and in particular lighting. You did a great job on this.
On your construction themed shot, I like the texture on the steel bars.
Fantastic! What great saturation and compositions. Perfect! Come visit when you have a few minutes: Levonne's Pretty Pics and A Camp Host Housewife's Meanderings.Would love your comments.
Both shots are great, The silhouette with just enough details in the shoulder and the hem of the skirt to be intriguing.
The textures and layers of the construction shot are interesting. Good to hear that your Dad is doing better.
Great silhouette, wonderful colours, charming pose
Wow, thanks for the mention Sandra! I've been so busy on other things lately that I completely forgot to tape off my screen this week. I've also lost touch with my 365 friends and am playing catch-up with their blogs.
