Monochromatic Monday

A big thank you to Elli for the tutorial on getting larger pictures on blogger.

I don't use any actions for my black & White so it's a learning process. I have learned that textures are very important especially in black and white images, contrast is very important too.

There was very little available light, I used the 50 mm 1.4 and 800 ISO. It's a great lens but at that aperture the image can get a little soft. At least her eyes are sharp.

These are wonderful! I. is just beautiful - those big eyes are amazing! That fountain is lovely - does it sound as nice as it looks?
