"A mad, keen photographer needs to get out into the world and work and make mistakes." Sam Abell
This is my new studio. It's still a work in progress. I've moved the lights around several times. This set up was suggested by Pam Lopez.
I'm having serious metering and lighting issues. Just ask Eric - I told him I was ready to throw everything out the window! Feel free to offer suggestions or CC
P.S. with no true wide angle this was the best I can do.

And these are just some of my ornaments using my 50 mm lens 1.4 for my lens challenge.

I know nothing about lighting, so I can't comment on that, but you have lovely ornaments!
i know nothing about lighting except that i have none! But I love your ornament shots! So pretty! I can't wait for the kids to get older so I can have a whole tree decorated again ;-)
Keep us updated on what works for your studio lighting. If I'm ever lucky enough to be able to get a setup, it will be good to know! I love your ornament shots - really lovely!
Can't help on the lighting. I love that I can use natural light year round.
I love your ornament shots! The first and third one especially.
