Our facebook group Project 365 has a challenge today it's "Summer" and the daily shoots challenge is "Weekend whimsy. Make a photograph of something that tickles your funny bone. Caption it accordingly." I was glad to be able to combine both today.
Isabella's toys in the yard makes me happy in a whimsical kind of way, the rays of sunshine make me happy and remind me that it is Summer and that string of lights that I put up on the grapevines, that have given me hours of entertainment learning how to take different boked images, all "tickle my funny bone."

To my fellow photographer friends - let me recommend that you participate in challenges. They will push you to think out side of your normal routine.
Posting from Flickr is giving me the blues today. I think it's time to change from blogger. Any suggestions?

Little mermaid was my daughter's favorite Disney' princess character when she was 5 year old.
Wonderful colors and bokeh on this shot. Now this shot goes perfectly with the mermaid song " Look at this stuff, Isn't it neat?"
Nice work Sandra
Lovely! The colors are just amazing!
Okay - seriously - download Windows Live Writer. Then I'll tell you what to do next. It will make your life so so so much easier!
Very creative!! Great flare! I love how you tied the two challenges together. I'm planning to join you with "The daily shoot".
This is adorable. I love the lighting.
You captured the light wonderfully. Very summery
I love that! Colors and light! Thank you for an idea, probably today I need to search again my kids toys and shoot them for today's picture ))
what a fun photo. definitely captures summer.
I agree on your point about joining challenges - I do find some of them hard to apply to my project which already has a theme.
challenges are great. I need to find an additional challenge. Any suggestions?
