D-336 Water and oil part 2

Heather from our Facebook Project 365 wanted us to use the water and oil from Art for our Friday challenge. So I tried to make it different but I think it's about he same.

Water & Oil Art
I love how the beads I used on the floor turned out in this one.

Water and oil art
just changing the items in the background makes a big difference in the final results.
I also spent a little time (enough to almost get frost bite on my fingers) in my garden. I told David then when I got home I saw this plant and the Nikon Angels sang to me. AAAWWWWWWWW LOL
Winter Garden

I took enough pictures to end my 365 project for this year, but I know that's not how it works. LOL
Are you still enjoying your project? I have a list of things I want to try, I have enough Ideas to get me through the rest of the year. How's your project going? Need ideas? What are your plans when you complete the 365 days?

These are all beautiful! You make the oil & water project sound so easy - I didn't find it that easy to get good focus and color. Kudos to you!

I love the garden shot - what is that plant?

I like the patterns in the first oil and water shot, but not so much in the second. Given that they are random I guess I shouldn't have a preference, but I still do. I like the chaos of colour in the last shot, definitely one I wouldn't get bored looking at.

As for the 365, I think I achieved my primary aim a little while back and somehow began to feel pressured to take a "good" shot everyday. When I don't take one I really like I inevitably end up feeling very distressed. I didn't anticipate this kind of reaction. I don't regret taking on the project but I will be happy to see the back end of it.

Amazing work! There are definitely a few things from your blog I'm going to be trying in the next little while for sure - thanks for the inspiration!
I'm doing something similar to you though not exactly a 365. Stop by when you have the chance and let me know what you think:

By the way - you were talking about stock textures in an earlier post. Outside of the usual sources, I found this on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/27805557@N08/
Good luck and all the very best!

Lovely water and oil experiment shots. Colors have came out real nice and I think I like the second shot better than the first one...

I really liked the first of the oil and water shots, I've got to try it.

Your garden image really rocks. It is very nice.

As far as the 365 project, I'm still loving it, in fact I like it more now than when I started. I've decided to finish this one focusing on pictures around Salem.

When this one ends, I think I'm going again with another project. I love how this has pushed me, and I want to learn more and try more things... especially the lighting.

These are beautiful. I love the cheerful colors. I wish I had so many ideas that I didn't have time to do them all. I've been stuck in no ideas for two months now.
