345/365 Playing with light

For lack of models and willing participants - I give you me at almost 1:00 a.m. on a work night, after a long day.

I'm playing around with lighting. I used what's called a "garlic light" it's only 3 inches wide by 1 inch small. I was going for a silhouette look. I'll keep playing around, I'm sure I'll figure it out someday.

I used coffee shops Bitter Sweet Vintage on the smaller one.

Very interesting. Personally I wish there was just a tad more ambient in the foreground to get a little more detail. I love how you practice with lighting. I need to do that more.

Elli,
I was going for a silhoutte look. I wanted the outlines to show with very little detail. I agree that I needed a bit more light but not exactly for detail. I'll try this again.

Very cool plays! I love the drama in the lighting! Great new blog header too! Beautiful mix of fall and winter.
